Early Arrival

So Landon decided to make an early arrival on March 5th. I had been having contractions the weekend before and the doctor decided to put me on bed rest & meds. That didn't last very long...on Thursday night I was having lots of cramping & just tried to rest through the night & call for a doctor's appointment in the morning. As I was seated on the table waiting for the doctor to come in, my water broke. The doctor came in & said, " I think you are having a baby today!" Thankfully we already had our bags packed and were prepared for the possibility of his early arrival. Labor and delivery was nothing like I expected. We got to the hospital about noon and just before 8 pm he was born. It was not nearly as scary as I expected. Because he was early Landon had to stay in the NICU for a few days. We are so grateful for the amazing nursing staff at St. Francis. They have made this journey so much better for our family. It's been a week of many emotions, but our little man will finally be coming home with us hopefully tomorrow. I will share more pictures when I have them. Thank you all for your support of our family. We can't wait to show off our handsome Landon Kenneth!
